Home Depot Kids Clinic tomorrow (Sat. 10/3)

Tomorrow, Saturday 10/3/09 Home Depot is having its Kids Clinic. They will be making this cute Firehouse Bank. The clinic, as always, is from 9am-Noon at all Home Depot stores.

About the Kids Clinic:

The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.

In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin.

Free Admission to National Parks, Saturday Sept. 26

Free Museum Day

I heard about this from Southern Savers but was pretty skeptical that there would be anything in my area participating. I am so glad I was wrong. It seems our local Edison & Ford Winter Estates is included and they are normally very expensive. So check it out and see what's open in your area!

On September 26th for annual Smithsonian Museum day, you can get FREE admission to many museums throughout the country. You will need to go here and register to get your free admission pass.

Home Depot is having their Kids Workshop this Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-noon at all stores. They are making this really cute wheelbarrow, which would make a great Mother's Day present!! My kids and I go to all of these Free workshops...it's something to do, free and lots of fun!

This Saturday (April 25th) at 10 am Lowes is having their Build and Grow Clinic. They are building this really cool looking hang-glider. It's a free event. We go every month and just love it!
