New addition to the family...

Home at last...

Last week little Callie was born... 8 pounds 9 ounces!! Unfortunately, in the middle of her first night she stopped breathing and had to be given oxygen. After 4 more of these episodes they admited her to the NICU. Numerous tests & 7 days later she is finally home. Still no answers as to what happened, and we are monitoring her on a home apnea monitor, but it she seems to be doing just great. And we are happy to be back home together as a family :)

Stay tuned for a couple of new giveaways coming up in the next week. I am also extending the Seventh Generation giveaway to May 16th!!

Environmentally responsible cleaning! - Closed

I've been a bit AWOL as I am sure you have noticed. For over four weeks our family has been fighting strep throat, colds and sinus infections. It seems as soon as one person gets better someone else is sick. Being only 2 weeks away from my due date, we're doing everything we can to keep the house germ free so we don't keep spreading all these sicknesses. Yet, I do not like to use harsh chemical cleaners so I was quite excited when I opened my door to find a box of Seventh Generation cleaning supplies from MyBlogSpark.

Seventh Generation cleaning products are non-toxic and safe for the environment, and yet still kills germs!

Leading the "responsible cleaning" charge for the past twenty years, Seventh Generation has tapped into the disinfecting power of the herb thyme, to introduce an EPA registered line of disinfecting sprays and wipes that kill germs* naturally! The new line of botanical disinfectant cleaners includes a multi-surface cleaning spray, bathroom cleaning spray and wipes.

I loved how easy the cleaning wipes were to use and knowing that they were safe & yet effective makes them a product worth purchasing!

Try them out for yourself! Enter to win a "Disinfecting Cleaning Kit" that includes a disinfecting multi-surface cleaner, bathroom cleaner, wipes, a copy of The Conscious Kitchen, a cleaning caddy made from recycled plastic, and two rolls of 100% recycled, unbleached paper towels!!!
