My daughter is just learning to read and she gets so excited whenever she sees her name in print. She always goes through all the mail frantically looking for a piece of mail with her name on it...that's why I know that anything I buy her with her name on it will be an absolute hit. And I have found a company that has some of the cutest products most of which can be personalized.

Olive Kids has a huge selection of products: kids bedding, drawer nobs and pulls (these are so adorable), growth charts, magnets, rubs, placemats, bookmarks, clocks, wall art and more. What I really love about Olive Kids is the fact that it is an affordable alternative to all of the TV character themes. All of their designs are classic kid themes like pirates, butterflies, outer space, mermaids, cowboys, etc. They allow the kids to have a little more imagination instead of being inundated with TV themes. And they have the same designs in all of the different product lines so you can continue the theme even into the bathroom.

I had the opportunity to review a nametag & placemat for Olive Kids. We are getting ready to go on vacation so I gave my daughter the nametag and showed her that she could put it on her backpack. She thought that was so cool. She absolutely loved the design and kept asking me how I got her name on it! And the plastic is pretty thick so I am not worried that it will fall off as we travel all through the airport.

The placemats were much larger than I expected which is absolutely wonderful because it actually covers the area my kids are eating on. I have used other placemats that didn't wipe off as easily; these placemats were very easy to wipe off. The designs on it just makes the table and mealtime a little more fun. And if you want, they now have sets where you can buy the personalized placemat and the matching personalized plate!

Olive Kids has also recently just released a personalized "readers kit" which would be a great gift for a birthday party. It has a personalized bookmark, a personalized book bag name tag, and 12 personalized book plates!
